Jason's initial changes have been:

- cat's ears, which he covers with a hat
- slit pupils and reflective eyes
- claws on his fingernails
- short, velvety fur across his nose and forehead
- fangs
- whiskers
- tabby markings on his face and neck
- growths on his back that will eventually become wings

To make matters worse, Jason's been resisting literally every step of the way. He filed down his teeth, shaved off the whiskers, cut off a chunk of his ears, ripped out his fingernails and has hacked off his wings with a kitchen knife.
