like what, earning your keep with mousing? no. we had horses when i was little and we keep the one to take ben for rides but that's it.

no like laying in sunbeams and chasing little red dots. who even has mice in the capitol?! i was going to ride a horse once but i was too short to reach the part of the saddle where your feet go, so i had to get back down :( it was a fashion thing for stylistic. i really wanted to ride the horse.

seems to me a cat's not far different than a parasite you're not horse-sized, you're pony-sized. ours is a dwarf horse though if you ever want to give it a try.

it's a pet, you're supposed to love it not expect things out of it a dwarf horse? does it have a beard and a pointy hat and stuff?

oh so it's a niece then jk no no, it's just smaller than normal horses but bigger than a pony

i know. next time we have a day off. so maybe never unless we both get fired... :|

you're nice to me, you can be nice it's not that bad. maybe once the arena calms down. or at least once there's a victor, before the crowning.

i am not nice to you. when was i nice to you? maybe. unless the victor is from 7 or 8 then one of us will be really busy

now you're just making fun of me that was maybe to us getting a day off, not to you riding the horse.

maybe then what, you want me to come over one night when we finally get them all in bed for the night? because jack's nightly bath takes AGES, he always argues like it's a choice plus can dwarfy horses even see at night

what, is your mom going to beat me up? i mean probably she could if she tried because most people could, but you're still an adult you can do what you want is it nice for the horse there? marcel has a tent that he sleeps in, i made sure it was good

you don't understand. my mother can raise hell if I step out of line I don't know. I pay a chunk of my paycheck to have servants do that.

what is "stepping out line" exactly? i hope it's nice.

the way our family conducts itself isn't any of your business. for what it's worth I'm pretty sure if my mother thought I was bringing a loose woman home to the house she lives in, that my family has always lived in, that would be over the line

there's no good coffee in the tribute center

[He doesn't get an answer, but about forty-five minutes later, an Avox shows up unbidden with a large gourmet coffee from a shop.]

[He drinks it, but it's unsatisfying. Also he was lying about the coffee, it's fine at the Tribute Center.]
